BBC drama
Broadcast, social media and a fictional social network — one story, three platforms.
Dixi set its drama inside a fictional social network and let it spill out into the real one — broadcast, social media and interactive storytelling working as a single audience experience. It was one of the BBC's most ambitious bets on digital-first drama for young audiences.
I produced two seasons for CBBC, sitting between the broadcaster and the independent production company that made it — advising on interactive design and audience participation, and keeping the whole thing inside BBC editorial standards. It won a Children's BAFTA in the interactive category.
My role: CBBC producer across Seasons 1 and 2, primary liaison with the production company, oversaw delivery of interactive components.
