Built alongside a Newsround documentary about dyslexia, this was an experiment in using gameplay instead of just video to build empathy. Interviews with children living with dyslexia became a series of interactive challenges that got harder and more frustrating the further you played — so you'd feel a version of what they'd described, not just hear it.

I conceived the idea and produced it in-house at CBBC, working closely with the Newsround team to keep it grounded in real testimony rather than turning it into entertainment for its own sake.

My role: conceived the concept, led development and production, worked with Newsround journalists to shape the experience.
